Kelly Clarkson "Shake It Off" Cover Wows Taylor Swift (VIDEO)

Kelly Clarkson covered "Shake It Off" at a show this weekend and Taylor Swift absolutely loved it.  



Swift, 24, even tweeted Clarkson's performance video for everyone to watch!

"Watching Kelly Clarkson SLAY "Shake It Off" is an excellent way to celebrate 26 HOURS TIL 1989!!!!!!" Taylor wrote on twitter on Saturday night. Her highly-anticipated album "1989" will be officially debuted on Monday.

"Shake It Off" is the new album's lead single. Swift premiered the song in August, at the same time she formally announced her upcoming record. Since then, "Shake It Off" has become a huge success, going platinum twice in the United States. The track is also topped the music charts in the U.S., Australia, Canada and New Zealand.

Clarkson, 32, sang "Shake It Off" during her concert at Shea's Performing Arts Center in Buffalo. The special, free show was to celebrate the opening of the new Microsoft store at Walden Galleria. Clarkson also performed at a similar celebratory Microsoft event in Charlotte, North Carolina earlier this month. During that concert, the former "American Idol" alum won raves for her cover of "Stay With Me" by Sam Smith.

Clarkson said of Taylor Swift's "Shake It Off": "This is a church song. This is a soulful song. This is one of my favorite songs out right now." She went on to perform an amazing new version of the song.
